Baby Bok Choi

These were delicious sauteed for a short time and dressed with sesame oil.

Spring in St Augustine.

You know Winter is almost over when St Augustine has it's annual Blessing of the Wheelbarrows to kick off the construction season. This year's event was lightly attended but very moving.

Philodendron Monstera, By the ICW

This plant only got singed by our frosts, thanks to the Intra Coastal Waterway being right under it. It now sticks out about 6 feet over the water.

Tree canopy, Roscoe.

We are blessed by a lovely old tree canopy on this part of Roscoe Blvd. A large number of lots like ours have been denuded for Ego-mansions.

Cabbage leaves on our dock.

These were the outer leaves of a huge cabbage from Nancy Huang. The rest was delicious!

Lagoon dock, PVB

This is a nice little dock by the 7th tee on our Lagoon Course.

Ocean Course reflections, PVB

We had a perfect Saturday morning and no wind. My golf was better and this picure came out well.

Two red cars.

As you can tell, I like primary colors.

Under the bridge.

The slanting light was a bonus to this view.

Going below the bridge.

The supports for this bridge were precast and floated into place. It's more like a puzzle than a construction project (says he who didn't work on it.) The end result is a very pretty span, I think.

Another bridge walk.

The weather was so nice on Sunday that I walked over the Beach Blvd. bridge again. In a few years these trees and palms will block the view from here.
