PVIC Swim team, morning workout.

The PVIC  Porpoises are a force in the proposed......possible........but not likely, local inter-club swimming league. I think that's you Dave in lane two.

Crime scene, Ponte Vedra Beach

So young and beautiful, with so much to look forward to.

The talker, PVIC

This guy was asking, "What's for dinner?" Why not just go home and find out?

Janie's crocs

The Croc is a wonderful device. These tiny little rubber shoelets, at just the touch of a toe, will dive under my feet and trip me.

Beach reader

This is the most uncomfortable way to read that I can think of. Lots of sunbathers do this, even with hardcovers.

Serendipity

Don't worry, I got him unstuck and released him, none the worse for wear.

Datil peppers

These peppers are now orange and ripe. In fact, a few of them are gone.

Another batch of Ratatouille

This version was on Kate and Delia's last night here before moving on. All the herbs and the tomatoes came out of my garden. It really did taste better.

Back to the future,

This was parked outside of my gym. A lovely bike.

Duelling cucumbers

My garden has reached space saturation and the vines are in constant battle.

Pork saltimbocca, modified

This is a light riff on the classic recipe. I took half of a pork tenderloin and flattened it with  a meat hammer. I laid sage leaves, fresh from the bush, onto it. Then I layered prosciutto on top of the leaves and folded it over. I seasoned the outside and grilled it for 5 minutes a side over medium heat (Weber Q200 gas grill). It was delicious, but I'll go easier on the sage next time.

Warm tomato

Fresh off the plant and still warm is about as good as a tomato gets.

Queen Anne's lace

The Queen Anne's lace is starting to fold in upon itself and make seeds. Once it does I'll be putting them all over the sunny areas.
