I'm back. Jacksonville Beach from the pier.
After a month in Provence and two weeks working on the other blog, I am glad to be adding pictures here again. I missed the Atlantic the whole time I was away. Good to be home.
It's a nice place to live. This morning it is a chilly 41 degrees (5 degrees celsius) but a brilliant sunlight, perfect for photographing as it is low in the sky. The ocean is a wonderful neighbor.
Luckily our 41f was the low for the day. The months of October,November,March,April and May are all perfect weather by my account. In the 70s by day and the 50s by night. The summers are long, hot and very humid (thus the September trips to Provence.) the winters are mild by almost any standard.

Today we had the same 5°C (or 41°F) and thick fog until 15.30 hrs. The Rhine River is not always a wonderful neighbor, ;-).

And what about December, January and February?
BTW, I didn't say something about the red chair in the photo ... really good.
