Call Bill O'Reilly!!!

For years, Fox News and Bill O'Reilly have railed against any attempt to take Christianity out of Christmas. They call it the War on Christmas and waste a lot of time manufacturing outrage at this war. Our Thanksgiving holiday is blessedly non-denominational. It is about family, not religion. It is a time to give thanks, to God, to the void, to chance or to nobody and gather with family and friends and enjoy a great big meal. Please leave Thanksgiving alone.

Plant Ranch, Jax Beach

This is where I get all of my plants and herbs. My Meyer lemon trees from here are overwhelming me this year.

No trespassing, Jax Beach

This lot had a building on it that I photographed a lot. It had an odd A-frame in the middle and fish and crabs painted on the outside walls. It was razed about a year ago and has lain fallow since. It lies across the street from a Publix Supermarket and right on a large road, Beach Boulevard. It is covered with weeds and litter. My question is what harm would a trespasser do to it?

Thank you, Jax Beach

A nice, ambiguous sign.

Ocal pompano, Jax Beach

Maybe you have to live here, but when they put up the pompano sign we get all giddy. In my opinion, the best white fish that I have ever eaten. Subtle, light yet flavorful.  The crab, shrimp from Mayport, and oysters aren't too shabby either.
