Welcome to the beach!

This is the front yard in Jax Beach. A most eclectic collection. Must be a tie to Germany as there are two German signs. The woman who did this was sitting in her chair, watching me. I told her how much I liked the collection and we had a nice talk.

I wonder which Neuenburg is meant ... not that I have heard of Neuenburg before, had to look it up.
But I guess it's the one in Baden-Württemberg, since Stuttgart is there, too.
So - a Swabian in North Florida? Did she tell you?

I didn't ask as I didn't notice the two German cities at the time, but her accent was pure southern American.

I served in the navy and we were referred to as swabbies. Does that make me a Swabian?

The pirate captain cried, “Ahoy, me swabbies, 'tis time to hoist the Jolly Roger!”

The Swabians are thought of as very assiduous and economical.
One (although small) compound for you: they are referred to as "Häuslebauer"
