The first one is just perfect, James. I love that twist.

Thank you. I was standing by the hose when I saw the shape and the light. The camera was on the car seat,as ever, so I snatched it and shot. I am liking the E-M5 more every week. I have the Leica 25mm f/1.4 lens and am amazed by it. So clear, different from sharp, that it looks like slide film. The 50mm equivalent suits my eye right now. Next week it will be the 45mm and the following week the 20mm. With those three I am set.

James, while I am usually happy with my 20mm, I find astonishingly enough the 14mm very often on my G3 - and I had always thought I am a fan of those normal or narrower angles. And in the city 14mm often is not wide enough...

Even more astonishing however is, how well I get along with my primes. Some years ago I would have completely denied this possibility.

The E-M5 is one alluring machine - as good as the G3 with the primes is, I do miss the in-body-stabilisation from my Sony DSLR days. Our winter is considerably darker than yours, and slow shutter speeds offer this nice possibility to blur pedestrians, too. Prices for the E-M5 are still quite high here in Europe, but when Olympus shows a successor, I expect them to drop considerable. Or the offer an even more alluring rangefinder/nex form factor...

Until then, I take more pictures with the G3!
