View from around Le Rocher, Saignon

One of the attractions of Saignon, that attracts a lot of local tourists, is a giant rock formation called Le Rocher. There is a set of steps up its side that you climb to get a view above the whole area.

I took this shot to the North. The road is the road that we take our walks on every day. At the corner of the two roads, next to the cherry orchard, is the little house occupied by a young woman and her angry dogs.

If you go up the bent road you will be at the first house that we rented in Saignon, Les Lantins. A beautiful house with nice grounds that is simply too big for two couples. Plus we love being in town, with a short walk to 6 restaurants. (In a town of about 1,000 people!)
