Gull on the beach, for Markus
On his blog, spring2life take2, Markus Spring had a wonderful picture of a decaying bird in Prague. I saw it on the day after I took this picture, as the bird slowly melted into the sand.
Definitely works for me, James. I like the idea of the sand devouring whatever comes to rest on it - the merging of organic and anorganic structures here, with the anorganic most probably winning, gives it an almost threatening perspective.

The beach ends up consuming or decaying all the stays on it.
