Agaves and window II, Jax Beach.....for Markus
Markus, this window is two meters from the ground. I am six feet tall and my head comes to just under the molding. I would guess that the agaves are five feet tall....and growing.
And sharp. The needles seem made of metal. They will get one or two feet larger and then put up a 30foot (10 meter) spike with beautiful flowers at the top. After the flowers are pollinated the whole plant dies, leaving lots of baby plants at the base.
