Anthill in pavement, Jax Beach
Ants love pavers. They have an entrance/exit almost immune from predators, a good roof over their head, very little flooding, temperature moderation and little roads safe from feet. That's my foot seeking top billing, once again.
Ah that's nice. I have tried so often to take decent photos of anthills ... but usually they are the same colour as the pavement around here ... so ... not much to see on the photos.
