Window sill, kitchen, home

We have collected these dancing figures, from The Dollar Store, for the last few years. When the sun hits the whole lil;l is moving. Of late, the little rabbit is getting a bit creepy, like Stephen King creepy.

Kitchen windows, Beaufort, NC

I love kitchen windows. Every owner makes their window unique, whether by design or chance. This was our rental house for a wedding in Beaufort, NC. The decor was by the owners and the food is randomly placed by us renters. Good coffee always amazes me when it appears out of left field. The water here tasted like you licked a galvanized bucket. Eight O'Clock is a store brand, pre-ground coffee. The coffee was superb every day. Go figure.

Agaves and window II, Jax Beach.....for Markus

Markus, this window is two meters from the ground. I am six feet tall and my head comes to just under the molding. I would guess that the agaves are five feet tall....and growing.

The upstairs window.

This is an upstairs window, above the three windows in the last post. You can barely see the array of video cameras covering the street. These folks must be a tiny bit paranoid.

Three windows, Jax Beach

I have watched this house for years. It was built during the housing boom. The owners apparently wanted all the space they could get, so they built to the edge of the sidewalk. For their windows they chose glass bricks, I would guess for privacy. The result is this trio of windows. I imagine that from the inside there would be nice diffused light from these windows.  But not being able to see out would bother me a lot (I'm a photographer). I do like the sort of abstracts of houseplants from the outside.
