This is the other half of the ground floor. Carol is still stirring the risotto from two posts below.Behind her is the door to the laundry room, with a washer and dryer. The dryer is quite noisy and your first instinct is to shut the door to quiet the noise. It doesn't work because there is no glass in the door, only a curtain.
