Window, Cusine de Soko, Saignon

The restaurant next door to our rental, Cuisine de Soko, is owned and run by a French woman of Japanese descent. She cooks to a fusion menu. Mostly Japanese ingredients with a French bent, always good. This is the window of the restaurant, which always has an arrangement of some sort in it.

Once a month she has two nights of sushi, which she makes very well. Since our last visit in 2008, sushi restaurants have popped up in a lot of places. Next year we'll try some of them. Strictly for research, of course.
